Spottory for iOS · updated 3 September 2026
Something not working, or a place that won't save? Write to us — one person reads every message.
Email: [email protected]
We reply within two business days. If you are reporting a bug, tell us your iOS version and what you tapped just before it happened — that usually saves a round trip.
Spottory reads the text you paste, pulls out the venue names, and looks each one up. If a name is spelled unusually, written only in a hashtag, or the venue isn't listed on Google Maps, the lookup comes back empty and nothing is saved.
Try pasting just the venue name and its city — "Gigi Rigolatto Bodrum" rather than the whole caption. If it still fails, send us the text you pasted and we'll look at it.
Each venue is saved once per account. If you add a place you already have, Spottory keeps the original instead of creating a duplicate. Open Saved Places to find it.
Nearby ordering needs location access. Open iOS Settings → Spottory → Location and allow it While Using the App. Without permission the app still works, but suggestions are not sorted by distance.
Email us and we will erase everything tied to your account within 30 days. Accounts are anonymous, so include the account ID shown in the app's Settings screen — that is how we find your records.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete the data, because the account lives in the cloud.
Purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Manage or cancel a plan in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but tell us what went wrong and we will fix it.
It is sent to OpenAI, which returns the venue names it recognises. We do not store the pasted text — only the places that come out of the lookup. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
